Dear Wes, I came to know you when you were very young, I watched you grow in your younger years. You were a good child my dear, my heart and love reach out to you and know that our heavenly Father was there to take you by the hand and relieve you of all pain and suffering. We will see you again of this I am sure. Now you join your father in a world of peace. God has blessed us all with having known you. Until we meet again, much love and big hugs to you. A special prayer for your Mom and Ryan, they continue to love you beyond and words humans can think. Holding you close to my heart with thoughts and prayers. Joanne, my heart goes out to you and your family at this sad time. May God's perfect peace surround you and comfort you as you navigate the days to come. Sending my love and hugs and lifting you all in my prayers. I'm so glad that you know Jesus as your Savior and Lord. Wesley Loyd “Wes” Cheeley, III, 25, of Kenbridge, Va. went to be with the Lord on May 11, 2017. He was the son of the late Wesley Loyd Cheeley, Jr. He is survived by his mother, JoAnn S. Moorefield (Kenneth); his brother, Ryan Jordan (Urica); nephew, Jedidiah Jordan; uncles, Dennie and Donnie Cheeley; aunts, Patricia C. Hawthorne, Linda Oliver and Jeanette King; many cousins and friends. Wes was a 2009 graduate of Nottoway High School and an employee of Pearson Hyundai. The family will receive friends at the Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge on Friday, May 19, from 12:30 until the start of services at 2PM. Burial to follow in the Kenbridge Cemetery.
