    Roy Alphonzo “Hambone” St. Clair  1934-2017

    “HAMBONE” St. Clair, 83, of Lunenburg, Va. and formerly of Roanoke passed away unexpectedly on August 22, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Doris C. St. Clair; his daughters, Sabrina (Tom) Hubert  of Cincinnati, Vickie Irby of Christiansburg and Sherrie (Cecil)  Snead of Buckingham; brother, Sidney (Deborah) St. Clair of Roanoke; step-children, Fay (Dwayne) Martin of Lunenburg and Eddie (Sallie ) Amos of Farmville; grandchildren, Brent (Katie) Hubert, Brian (Jocelyn) Hubert, Brittany  (Brian) Clarke, Chase Irby, Skyler (Tyler) Henderson and Savannah Amos; step-grandchildren, Lauren (Ben) Prosise, Megan Martin and Mary Grace Amos; great grandchildren, Ryan and Aubrey Hubert; step great-grandchildren, Jake and Abbie Prosise. The family will receive friends Friday, Aug. 25 from 5 to 7pm at Oakey’s Funeral Service in Vinton, Va. A second viewing will be held Saturday Aug. 26 from 1 to 2PM  at Union Grove Baptist Church in Lunenburg where funeral services will follow  at 2PM.
