KING,
Betty Bohannon King, 64, of Kenbridge, Va. went to be with the Lord on  November 18, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Betty Bohannon; sister of the late, Patty Watson, Charles Bohannon, Harry Bohannon and Nellie Hazlewood.  She is survived by her husband, James W. “Butch” King; her son, Brian King and his wife Stacey;  daughter, Tina Faye King;  grandchildren, Josh Martin, Hannah Perry, Alex King, Shelby King and Madison Thompson; her sisters, Dallas Abernathy (Joe), Virginia Langford and Lillian Osborne (Garland);one brother Andrew Bohannon, Jr (Doris). Betty was a dedicated officer at Nottoway Correctional Center for over twenty years. She was a member of  Concord Baptist Church, Chase City, Va., where funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017 at 2PM with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday  from 6:30 to 8PM at the Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge.
