Doris Glass Irby, 87, of Lunenburg, Va. joined her family in Heaven on Jan. 16, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents; Curtis and Alma Coleman; four children, John C. Franklin, Sr., Ramona “Pat” Bondurant, Carroll Lee Crisp and Marie G. Jones. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Darrell G. Irby; daughter, Catherine G. Kidd and husband Cullen; two sons, Benjamin D. Franklin and wife Isabell and Mitch A. Franklin. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; her sister, Jenny Reynolds and brothers Curtis Coleman and Terrell Coleman and wife Gloria. The family will receive friend Friday from 5pm to 7pm at the Staples Funeral Home in Victoria where funeral services will be held Saturday Jan. 21, at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the Lakeview Cemetery, Victoria.
