SMITH,
Meredith Tanner Smith, 39, of Littleton, NC and formerly of LaCrosse, VA and Kenbridge, VA joined the angels in Heaven on March 17, 2018. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Herman and Agnes Vick and paternal grandfather, Evans D. Tanner, Sr. She is survived by her husband Gary T. Smith; her mother, Deborah V. Tanner; her father, Evans Daniel Tanner, Jr. (Mary);  four brothers, Chuck, Trey, Nathaniel and Will; paternal grandparents, Christine L. Tanner and Robert and Lucy Clary; mothers-in-law, Carol Core (Chuck) and Jamie Smith, wife of the late Gary Smith; a loving host of family and friends. Meredith was a graduate of Central High School and Longwood University. She attended New Hope Baptist Church in South Hill where the family will receive friends Monday from 6-8PM and where services will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 11AM. Rev.
