CLARK,
David Eugene “Gene” Clark, 86, of Farmville, Va. and formerly of Victoria, Va. went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2018. He was the son of the late Herman Hobart Clark and Luida Darlington Clark and father of the late Thomas Eugene Clark. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of twenty years, Iris Smith Clark; his sons, Timmy Clark (Linda) and Glenn Clark; step-daughters, Kelly Tilley and Sherri Harris (Edward); 8 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Gene served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was a member of VFW Post 9954. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:30 to 8PM at the Staples Funeral Home, Victoria. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 11AM in the New Covenant Fellowship Church, Crewe, Va. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery, Victoria.
