HAZLEWOOD,
Brenda Newkirk Hazlewood, 75, a sweet wife, Mama, Meme, sister, aunt, and friend peacefully passed into the arms of her Savior on July 6, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Mary Newkirk and her sister Mary Jane Sherman. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Raymond Weldon Hazlewood; her children, Gina Bonney (David), Jeff Hazlewood (Terri), and Jill Hart (Robbie); her grandchildren, Thomas, Mary Lauren,  Olivia, Melissa, Jack, and Leona; brother, David Newkirk (Jane); mother-in-law, Leona Hazlewood; brother-in-law, Andy Sherman; and, numerous nieces and nephews. Brenda retired from Chesterfield County Public Schools. She loved quilting, sewing, animals, and spending time with her grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 9th at 4:00 p.m. in the Kenbridge Heights Cemetery. In addition, memorial services will be held Wednesday, July 10th at 4:00 p.m. at Beulah United Methodist Church, 6930 Hopkins Road, North Chesterfield, casual attire preferred.
