Thomas Wade Harding, 65, a life-long resident of Lunenburg County, went to be with his Heavenly Father on February 24, 2023. Wade is survived by his two children; Natasha Gill (Chris) and Brandon Harding (Kim); wife and devoted friend, Sharon O. Harding; sisters, Linda H. Willis (Jay) and Carol H. Mize (Richard); his granddaughter, Greleigh M. Gill and his grandsons, Maddox Gill and Andrew Thomas Harding. He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas E. “Tom” Harding, and mother, Elsie Mae Atkins Layne. Wade had an unwavering love for his family and friends, supporting them at every turn. He proudly built championship teams as a Dixie Youth Baseball and Victoria Panthers Football coach. He enjoyed nothing more than local short track racing; driving, working and watching race cars on Saturday nights. Wade served in the military for over 35 years, both with the U.S. Marine Corps and the Virginia Army National Guard. The family will receive friends at all times at Wade’s home and at Staples Funeral Home in Victoria on Monday, February 27, 2023 from 6 to 8PM.
