LLOYD,

James Andrew Lloyd, 78, of Victoria, Va. joined his family in Heaven on August 17, 2019. He was one of nine children of the late Dewey and Lessie Lloyd. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Lynch Lloyd; his son, Robert James “Bobby” Lloyd (Donna); his daughters,  Pamela Lloyd Merwin (Tom) and Carolyn Suzanne “Susie” Lloyd Downing (Steve); five grandchildren, Zachary “Zack” Merwin, Melissa Slusser, Jordan Clark, Heather Lloyd and Elizabeth Lloyd; numerous great-grandchildren, his brother, Dewey E. Lloyd (Jane) and Betty Elizabeth Slater (Albert) James enjoyed fishing and collecting and was a talented builder. He loved cooking and spending time with family and friends. The family will receive friends Monday, August 19, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at the Staples Funeral Home in Victoria where funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 2PM.
