Betty Bohannon Jones, 70, of Victoria, Va. passed away Oct. 6, 2018 surrounded by family. She was the daughter of the late Joe Leonard Bohannon and Geraldine Fitts Bohannon and sister Of the late Joe Leonard Bohannon, Jr. and Jimmy Bohannon. Left to cherish her memory is Her husband of 49 years, George Lee Jones; her children, Michael Lynn Jones (Robin), Greg Alan Jones, Wendy Leigh Pulliam (West) and Stephanie Faith Allen (Matt); ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; and her sister, Mary B. Adams. Betty in her younger years was an avid basketball and softball player. She enjoyed her job and the people she worked with in the Lunenburg County Public School system. She loved cooking and spending time with her family. Betty was a member of Victoria Baptist Church where the family will receive friends Monday, Oct 8. from 6:30 to 8PM and where funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018 at 2PM. Interment in the Lakeview Cemetery, Victoria.
