Cassie Gilliland Moore, 87, of Victoria, VA joined her family in Heaven on April 14, 2022. She was the wife of the late Clyde W. Moore, Sr.; mother of the late, Carolyn A. Moore, Connie M. Crowley and Clay H. Moore; she was the daughter of the late, Edgar Lee Gilliland and Marzie Claburn Gilliland and sister of the late, Hubert Lee Gilliland and Robert “Bobby” Gilliland. She is survived by her sons, Clyde W. Moore, Jr. (Robin) of Danville and Carl H. Moore (Jean) of Petersburg; her sisters, Barbara G. Rickman (Wayne) and Betty G. Rickman (Jimmie); her brothers, William “Bill” Gilliland, Jerry L. Gilliland and Kenneth W. Gilliland; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and friends. She was a retired hairdresser and a devoted member of the Crewe Church of the Nazarene. She loved dolls, making jewelry and going to thrift stores. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 16, 2022 at the Staples Funeral Home, Victoria from 10 a.m. until start of services at 11 a.m. Rev. Judd Compton and Rev. Kenneth Barnes officiating.
