Margaret Bowers “Lena” Gaulding, 65, of Victoria, Va. went to be with the Lord on April 15, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Marvin and Velma Bowers. Lena is survived by her sisters, Mary B. Currin (Ricky) of Blackridge and Janice B. Hutchins (Bobby) of Boydton; her brother, Marvin Bowers, Jr. (Wanda) of Chase City; her loving companion of 25 years, Jeff Parrish; his daughter, Alecia and the apple of Lena’s eye Collin Parrish all of La Crosse. Lena enjoyed working, watching Collin play baseball and spending time with her family. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from 6:30 to 8PM at the Staples Funeral Home in Victoria. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Oakwood Cemetery, South Hill.
