LONG,

Anne Louise Long, 74. of Kenbridge, Va. joined her family in Heaven on June 15, 2020. She was the mother of the late Connie Sue Jones. She is survived by her daughter,  Donna Faye Bowman; her son, Wilson Lee “Buck” Long, Jr. (Angie); grandson, Anthony Allen Long; granddaughters, Lauren Long Vasquez (Henry), Samantha Lynn Hite (JD) and Lindsey Rene’ Meunier (John); great-grandchildren, Kamden Childs, Makenzie Hite, Jacob Newcomb, Savannah Meunier, Samuel Long, “Big” JJ Hite, Madison Meunier, Kayleigh Meunier and “Little” JJ Meunier; her sister Edith Wray; Brother Norman “Dickie” Mayton (Wanda); “adoptive daughter” Marie Hazelwood and loved by many more. Anne was a member of Kenbridge Christian Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and bargain Shopping. She loved Elvis and Baby Sitting. Many generations know her as Nanny Long. The family will receive friends Friday, June 19, 2020 from 6:00 to 7:30PM At the Clarke Funeral Home, Kenbridge, where funeral services will be held Saturday June 20, 2020 at 11:00 AM.
