Janet, I am so sorry to hear about Buddy. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I know he will be greatly missed by all of his loved ones and friends.

Newman Howard “Buddy” Watson, 63, of Victoria, Va. passed away peacefully on April 11, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Birtie B. Watson, Sr. and Sue Kirtley Watson; brother, Birtie B. Watson, Jr. and sister Dinah Swift. He is survived by his wife, Janet Willis Watson; his children, Jonathan Watson (Angela), Kelly Coffee (Gill); and his grandchildren, Erika, Chelsee and Jace Watson, Emma Coffee; his brother-in-law, David Swift. Family and friends are welcomed to visit the home at all times. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in his memory to the Lunenburg Health Service, P.O. Box 121, Victoria, Va. 23974. Per his wishes, burial will be private. Staples Funeral Home is serving the family. www.staplesfh.com.
