Mr Noyes was such a kind gentleman. I met him from Southern States. My many years serving him there, I retired. My son, Desi was working part time in his high school year, met him and he would tell me what a nice gentleman he was. So well did I know!!! One day it was raining and Desi didn't have a coat with him and Mr Noyes left Desi his jacket. This was a small token of his love for people!

So sorry to learn of Larry's death. I remember him so well when I worked at ACE. He also was so good to my Mama when he cut hay in her field. My sympathy is with Fran and your family.

Mom, I know how your heart is broken, he was your everything. My heart bleeds for you knowing your pain. A true love story.
Just know we are here for you, for anything you need, even if it's just someone to listen. We love you Mom. Rest in peace Dad. You've earned it.

Just heard about Larry from Fran. We served together in Virginia Beach in VA42. Larry was dedicated to his work and his fellow shipmates. Always willing to lend a hand and instruct younger sailors in his charge. He was the best of the best.
