I will miss seeing her sweet face best neighbor and loving person that loved our saviour. May you all have peace knowing she is singing phrase to our Lord and saviour. We are all travelling through this place on earth: just remember, she just gone ahead of you all for now. Prayers for a safe journey back home.

Elizabeth was such a sweet lady have known her for many years she loved her church friends and her family!! I will miss this wonderful lady!!

I have know Elizabeth for many years. We use to work together in Victoria. She always had a smile on her face and something kind to say. I hope the family can find comfort in knowing that she is now with the Lord. Sincerely, Charles & Vanessa Martin

Elizabeth Ayscue “Nanny” Greene, 89, of Victoria, Va. went to be with the Lord on January 15, 2020. She was the wife of the late Raymond G. “Slim” Greene. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Seamster of Blackstone and Tracey Lyman (Tony) of Snohomish, Washington; her sons, Danny Gilley of Ruther Glen, Virginia and Ernest Greene (Liz) of Arlington, Washington; six grandchildren John Gilley, Kyle Gilley (Robin), Jason Seamster (Shaun), Michelle Cook (Bobby), Shelby Lyman and Chase Lyman; 5 great- grandchildren, Grace Cook, Sam Cook, Tate Seamster, Jackson Gilley and Noah Gilley; one brother, Hubert Powell. Nannie was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Gospel Baptist Tabernacle Church, 1031 Main Street, Kenbridge, Va. where funeral services will be held Sunday, Jan. 19, 2020 at 2PM Interment in Lakeview Cemetery, Victoria. The family will receive friends Saturday, Jan. 18, from 6:30 to 8 PM at the Staples Funeral Home, Victoria. In lieu of flowers please consider memorial donations to Gospel Baptist Tabernacle Church.
