So sad to hear of this. He had a long life and lots of love to share. I always thought a lot of him and enjoyed our conversations whenever we ran into one another . I'll always remember him fondly. May he be with God and may God be with his family.

Sending our deepest condolences. Lifting the family up in prayer through this difficult time. Buford was a very special man and we have missed our yearly visits with him. He gave me my 1st job. Rest in peace dear friend.

Buford Elliott Cabaniss, Sr., 99, of Kenbridge, VA joined his family in Heaven on May 9, 2022. He was the husband of the late Mary Mills Cabaniss and son of the late Richard Aubrey Cabaniss and Nettie Laffoon Cabaniss. He is survived by his children, Dr. Katherine Cabaniss, Elliott Cabaniss, Larry Cabaniss and Richard Cabaniss; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Private funeral services will be held 1PM Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the Cabaniss Family Cemetery.
