CALLIS,
Maxine Perkins Callis, 83, born in Kenbridge, Va. went to be with the Lord on April 10, 2019.  She was the daughter of the late Hurley and Adelaide Hurst Perkins.  Maxine is survived by her husband of 59 years, Myles Moore Callis, her daughters’ Julie and Jill and grandchildren, Kayleb and Daylin.  Maxine graduated with honors from Kenbridge High School in 1954. She married Myles in 1959 and moved to Virginia Beach, VA in 1970. She enjoyed bowling, painting, card games, helping others and spending time with her family. The family will receive friends at the Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge, Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 1PM until the start of services at 2PM. Interment in the Dundas Baptist Church Cemetery.
