Larry Bolling Gibbs, 78, of Dewitt, VA passed away March 29, 2022. He was the son of the late Denton and Ola Gibbs and brother of the late Thurma Brown, Ann Rash, Earl Gibbs, Norborne Gibbs, Alice Clay, Warren Gibbs and Elton Gibbs.  He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Edna Wilkinson Gibbs; four sons, Dean (Wendy) of Chesterfield, Darren (Denise) of Dundas, Eric (Holly) of Midlothian and Timmy (Wendy) of Dewitt; 10 grandchildren, Brandon Gibbs (Shannon), Paige Gibbs, Taylor Cox (Josh), Chelsea Beach (Matt), Dalton Gibbs, Bo Gibbs (Tori), Hunter Gibbs (Katie Wright), Corbin Gibbs, Trevor Gibbs (Olivia), Miranda Wray, Lindsey Manuel (Mitch) and Jesse Medlin; 10 great-grandchildren, Aaron and Addison Gibbs, Jamison Cole, Julia and Zoe Cox, Waylon Beach, Aden Vaughan, Aubrey Gibbs and Ellis and Emerson Manuel; Many nieces and nephews. Larry retired as a mechanic from Smurfit Stone after 52 years and was a member of Perseverance Christian Church in Dundas. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He loved spending time with his family. He adored his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, April 1, 2022 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at the Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge. Graveside Funeral Services will be held 11am Saturday, April 2. 2022 at the Wilkinson Family Cemetery, 539 Olo Road Dundas, Virginia 23938.
