SHIPE,
Harry Franklin Shipe, 87, of Kenbridge, Va. passed away Feb. 15, 2017. Harry was born Sept. 17, 1928. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lee, Joe and Bedford; sisters, Leona and Viola. Harry is survived by his wife of 62 years, Eva B. Shipe; Sister-in-law, Mary Lee Overby (Tony) of Dundas, Va; brother-in-law, Howard Burchette (Amanda) of Abingdon, Va; his nieces and nephews; lifelong friend Willie Munsey and the Munsey family; devoted friend Bill Bradley; a host of adopted family and friends; and his best buddy, Daisy Dog. The family will receive friends at all times at Harry and Eva’s home. Memorial services will be held Monday, Feb. 20 at 2:00 pm in the Clarke Funeral Home, Kenbridge.
