BRIDGFORTH,
Gloria Jean Bridgforth passed away in Westport Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center on the morning of October 5^th, 2020, at the age of 76. She was married for 10 years to Bernice Bridgforth of Kenbridge VA who passed away in 2009.  She will be greatly missed for her musical talent, unique sense of humor and immense care for others.  She is survived by her son, Perry Pernell, and his wife Mary and son, Courtney Pernell, and his wife Shannon. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Ashby, CJ, Bryant, William, and Meghan.  Due to the COVID pandemic, funeral services will be kept private and for immediate family only.  A memorial service honoring her life will be announced at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor her life can make a donation in her name directly to the Humane Society.
