BRIDGFORTH,
George B. “Bevo” Bridgforth, Jr. an avid golfer of Kenbridge, Va. teed off in Heaven March 11, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents George Blackwell Bridgforth and Katharine Seward Bridgforth and his wife of 45 years, Doris Goodwyn Bridgforth.

He is survived by his three children George and Anne Bridgforth (Austin and Wells), Turner and Myra Bridgforth (Turner and Anna), Jane Wilson (Roy, Katie, Candice and Beth), his brother, Joe Bridgforth (Sally), and four great grandchildren. He was a lifelong tobacco buyer who traveled the east coast tobacco markets which expanded to Europe, Asia, Africa and South America.

He lived to play the game of golf and enjoyed the camaraderie of the foursome. He loved living in Kenbridge and Lunenburg County and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday, March 17, 2019 at 2PM in the Kenbridge Heights Cemetery, Kenbridge, Va.
