Dorothy Sahnow Neblett “Dot” of Kenbridge, Virginia passed away on May 11, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Donald Neblett, Sr, and her mother, Annie Davis Fleming.  Dot is survived by her son and daughter-in-law , Charles D. “Donnie” Neblett, Jr. and wife Susan, two grandchildren Elizabeth Neblett Schneiderman (Chris) and Charles William “Charlie” Neblett,  great-grandson, Miles Neblett Schneiderman and great-granddaughter, Augusta Lillian Schneiderman. 
 

Dot’s entire working career (41 years) was for the United States Postal Service in Kenbridge where she served as the postmistress for 25 years prior to her retirement.  She was a member of the Kenbridge United Methodist Church. 

She loved her family and her many  friends.  She enjoyed travelling, playing cards/dominoes and being with people. The family will receive friends graveside at Kenbridge Heights Cemetery (West Street, Kenbridge) on Sunday, May 15, 2022, from 3PM to start of services at 3:30PM

In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to the Kenbridge Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 328, Kenbridge, VA 23944 or the Kenbridge Fire Department, P.O. Box 556, Kenbridge, VA 23944.  Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge is in charge of the arrangements.
