Darrell Gray Irby, 83, of Lunenburg, VA went to be with the Lord on March 2, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife Doris Glass Irby; his parents, Earl Howard Irby and Willie Alma Lloyd Irby; his brothers, Vernon Earl Irby, William Sherwood Irby and Harry Whaley Irby; a sister; Eva Irby Knott. Darrell is survived by his sister, Myrtle V. Irby; numerous nieces and nephews and his sister-in-law, Carole S. Irby all of Lunenburg County. Darrell retired from VDOT as a truck driver. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, cutting grass and sitting on the front porch. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 6:30 – 8PM at the Staples Funeral Home in Victoria. Graveside funeral services will be held 2PM Sunday, March 6, 2022 at the Lakeview Cemetery in Victoria.
