Sylvia McDonald Mahaney, 78, of Kenbridge, Va. passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018.  She is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Arthur Randolph Mahaney, Jr.; two daughters, Margaret Oliver Mahaney and Ann Randolph Mahaney Busbee (Andrew); two grandchildren, David and James. Sylvia will be remembered as an artist who graciously shared her talent with all those around her.  She brought her love of creating joy for others through her painting, special culinary talents, and a life time of gardening. Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 10AM in the Kenbridge Heights Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the cemetery for the hour prior to services.
