Nathania Buchanan “Nate” Dawson, 67, of Chesterfield, Va. went to be with the Lord on Feb. 12, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel Edward Buchanan and Helen Buchanan and a son; Joseph Caleb Dawson. She is survived by her husband, Richard M. “Butch” Dawson and a son, Mark Dawson both of Chesterfield; her sister, Addie Bennett and two brothers, Richard “Buck” Buchanan (Monique) and Montgomery Buchanan (Debbie). Nathania was an office services specialist with the Virginia State Police. She loved the Lord and enjoyed reading and being with her family. She was a member of Midlothian Baptist Church. Graveside memorial services will be held Friday, Feb. 16 at 11:00 a.m.  in the Moody-Dawson Family Cemetery, Bacon Fork Road, Kenbridge, Va. Clarke Funeral Home, Kenbridge in charge of services.
