MAYTON,
Florence Smith Mayton, 88, of Kenbridge, Va. went to be with the Lord on Dec. 29, 2017.She was the wife of the late Benjamin David Mayton and one of eleven children of Virginia Epperson Smith and Samuel F. Smith. She is survived by her children, Gloria Williams, William “Tommy” Mayton, Wanda Burks, Kathy Stegall and Donna Mayton; nine grandchildren, Michelle Fulford, David Mayton, Paul Williams, Jr. Stacey Stegall, Tommy Rhea, Dusty Williams, Stephanie Rhea, Tyler Mayton and Katie Burks; three great-grandchildren, Lauren Fulford, Cayleigh Williams, Cayden Williams and one brother, Milton Smith (Nancy) Florence was a  Loving and devoted mother and grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and being with her family.  Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2017 at 1PM in the Sunset Hills Cemetery, Burkeville, Va.
