Christina Moore Compton, 69, of Kenbridge, Va. joined her family in Heaven on June 29, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Y. Compton; grandson, Tobias Dolphin Compton; parents, John and Marjorie Moore and brother, Blaine D. Moore. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra C. Simmons (Gregg) and Pamela C. Crowder (Freddie Dooley); her son, Billy Y. Compton, Jr. (Getena); Granny of , Madison, Colby, Wyatt and Shelby; two sisters, Jimmie Kay Graves (Johnny) and Becky Buchanan (Dale); special friends Monk and Tammy Harris and the Winey Women. Christina will always be remembered for her kind smile, warm heart and her love of others. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:30 to 8PM at the Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge, where funeral services will be held Tuesday July 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Interment in the Kenbridge Heights Cemetery.
