Stephen Green “Pete” Cowan, III, 86, of Dundas, VA passed away Friday, March 17, 2023. He was the son of the late Rev. Stephen G. Cowan, II and Margaret M. Cowan and brother of the late Douglas W. Cowan. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ruth R. Cowan; his daughter, Wendy Cowan (Jon Ramsey) of Richmond; his son, Stephen G. Cowan, IV of Los Angeles, CA; and his sister, Elizabeth Soffee (Robert) of Richmond. Private graveside services will be held 11AM Monday, March 20, 2023 at the Perseverance Christian Church Cemetery in Dundas. A celebration of Pete’s life will be held at a later date. Clarke Funeral Home, Kenbridge, in charge of arrangements.
