Sorry for your loss. He lived a good long life and is in a better place now. I got to know him over the many years he spent with Nita. I visited him several times at the Barton residence in Greenbay VA over the last 2 years. He will be missed at that family/friend functions in the future. Rest In Peace 🙏

Newton Baker Daniel, 90, of Kenbridge, VA joined his family in Heaven on November 10, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Jones Daniel; his parents, Waverly and Mary Daniel; a son, Paul Baker Daniel; a granddaughter, Sabrina Michelle Daniel; brothers, Odell, Claude, Sidney and Drew and his sister, Ruby Codispoti. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jan Daniel. grandchildren; Leah Manalo (Jonathan), John Daniel and Marley Daniel; great-grandson, Jackson Malano. Baker grew up on a farm in Danieltown, VA. He served our country in the U.S. Army and retired from Norfolk Southern

Railway as an engineer. He enjoyed watching westerns, playing music and spending time with his family. Graveside funeral services with military rites will be held 2PM Sunday, November 13, 2022 at the New Hope Christian Church cemetery in Danieltown, VA.
