Dene was my school bus driver in my early years of school. I always enjoyed talking with him when he came in Kenbridge Supply. He was a dedicated man to his family.

Knew him in the 1950's gave me rides when hitchhiking always kind and a gentleman condolences to his family !*!

Miles Dene Estes, 85, of Victoria, Va. joined his family in Heaven on March 1, 2018. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Thompson Estes. He is survived by his sons David Estes and Marvin Estes (Dawn); two daughters, Carolyn Hankins (Charles) and Hazel Arnold (Wayne); ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Joyce C. Estes. Dene enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and plumber. He served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a lifetime member of VFW Post 9954. The family will receive friends Monday, March 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Clarke Funeral Home, Kenbridge where funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 11 AM. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers please consider memorial donations to the Lunenburg Health Services or VFW Post 9954. Online condolences may be made at www.clarkefh.com
