    Ms. Mildred was a wonderful woman. I have very fond memories with Nana (Fleda Harris) in the beauty shop. My thoughts and love go out to the family. May she be in your heart forever ❤️

    Mrs.Parrish was such a sweet lady. Always a smile on her face. She will be truly missed. Prayers to the family.

    Barbara and Gay and family, The picture of Mildred was so lovely. Happy memories flooded my thoughts of being at your home when we were teens & your mom and dad right there with us. Our love and prayers are with you and know she was special to us. Jane and Jim Bland

    Barbara and Gay, So sorry about your Mom. I have so many fond memories of taking Mom to get her hair done and spending time with your Mom. She was so good to Mama, would pick her up if we or someone could not get her to her appointment, she was such a dear and so funny. She will be missed but I know there are a lot of ladies up there that have been waiting for a shampoo and set! Our love to you both and the family.

    Mildred Hite Parrish, 94, of Kenbridge, Va. died March 28, 2017. She was the wife of the late Franklin Odell Parrish. She is survived by her daughters; Barbara McMillian and Gay Parsons (Ray); grandchildren, Cynthia Parrish (Charles) and Lloyd Parsons (Aimee); great-grandchildren, Savannah, Jackson and Lauren;  brother, Richard E. “Sonny” Hite (Jean) and sister, Carol Wells (Matt). Mildred was a retired hairdresser and member of Kenbridge Christian Church. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Kenbridge Heights Cemetery, Kenbridge, Va. In lieu of flowers please consider memorial donations to the Lunenburg Health Services, P.O. Box 121, Victoria, Va. 23974. Online condolences may be made at
