I have the sweetest memories of Lennice when I was growing up in Kenbridge. She had a beautiful voice and was a faithful member of the choir at Kenbridge Christian Church. A lovely lady who will be missed. With love and sympathy, Mildred Mae, Pete and Bonnie Watson

I have such fond memories of Mrs. T. We worked together at Ft Pickett and she was a wonderful person and a great mentor. We stayed in touch with cards during the year and I will so miss her notes. I am so sad to learn of her passing and send my sincere sympathy to the family. I truly loved Mrs. T. Joyce and Ray Parker

Lennice Conner Thompson, 90, of South Hill and formerly of Kenbridge died January 25, 2017. She was the wife of the late John Allen Thompson and daughter of the late Julius Woodson Conner and Eva McChristian Conner. She is survived by her brother, Sandy W. Conner; niece, Lynda C. True (Page); nephews, Richard S. Moody (Judy) and Michael D. Moody (Donna); great-niece, Tammy L. McGrath (Billy) and great-nephew, William P. True, III (Liz); great-great-nieces, Alyson True, Delaney McGrath, Reagan True and Sidney True; great-great-nephews, William P. True, IV and Jackson True. Lennice was a member of Kenbridge Christian Church. She retired from Fort Pickett as public relations officer. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 27^th, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Crestview Memorial Park, South Hill. In lieu of flowers please consider memorial donations to the Kenbridge Christian Church, 807 E. Fifth Avenue, Kenbridge, Va. 23944
