    Lawton was a good friend for years - we met when we were 15 and I introduced him to Betty. We shared many laughs with our mutual friends, Madison, Wayne, Donald, Joel and others. The good ol days. Rest In Peace Deb

    Pam, Eric and family We were so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing and we know he will be missed by each of you.     Lawton McKenzie Quinn, 68, of Kenbridge, VA joined his family in Heaven on December 28, 2021. He was the son of the late Theodore Lawton Quinn and Lettie Mae Thompson Quinn and husband of the late Betty Wallace Quinn. He is survived by his wife Shirley Crabtree Quinn; his son Eric L. Quinn (Jill) of Meherrin, VA; his daughter, Pamela D. Quinn of Washington, Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Skyler, Summer and Shiloh; his sister Elaine Q. Bates of Virginia Beach, VA; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Lawton served our country in the US Air Force. He was a retired ammunition inspector having worked for Fort Pickett and Fort A.P. Hill. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He raised cattle for many years and enjoyed hunting, fishing and just being outdoors. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Dec. 30 from 6:30 to 8PM at the Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge and at all other times at the home of Eric and Jill, 691 Doswell Town Road, Meherrin, VA.  Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 31, 2021 at 2PM in the Kenbridge Heights Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers please consider memorial contributions to Jonesboro Baptist Church, 1955 Jonesboro Road, Blackstone, Virginia 23824 0r Perseverance Christian Church, 2894 Gigg Road, Kenbridge, VA. 23944
