    I Just Saw This. Am So Sorry & Forever Saddened. MY deepest Sympathy To Everyone. Joyce Was My Dear Friend & Closer Than A Sister-FOR Decades-Always. She Will Be So Missed. She Was A Fantastic Person. -Patti C

    Joyce was a part of my life since I was kid. She taught me a lot of things like how to play basketball and guitar. I wanted to be just like her. She was my favorite person. Her heart was pure gold. The world was better with her in it, and I am blessed to have known her and have spent a great deal of time with her. I would not trade those memories for anything. I am saddened to hear this news. I loved her dearly. Love and sympathy to the family - Abri

    Joyce Leigh Smith, 69, of Greensboro, N.C. and formerly Victoria,Va joined her parents, Billy S. Smith Sr. and     Marion Glasscock Smith, in Heaven on Nov. 18, 2019. She is survived by her sister, Janet S. Stone (Greg) of Cary, NC and her brother Billy S. Smith, Jr. (Debbie) of Victoria; nieces, nephews and extended family.     Memorial services will be held Saturday, Nov. 23, at 2pm in the Lakeview Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers please consider memorial donations to your local SPCA or your favorite charity. Online condolences may be made at www.staplesfh.com Staples Funeral Home in charge of arrangements
