There are not enough good words to express how uplifting and charismatic Of a person Colt was. He was working with us when he began his journey with his diagnosis. From the beginning our saying was "God's Got This" and Lord knows he did. Smiles , hugs, and many comforting words for others...he was such a blessing and taught us all many lessons on how to fight a good fight. I got to see him a few months ago at VCU front desk. He was still smiling looking a little tired and he told me then he was facing more battles. But our last words were simultaneously "God's Got This" with a hug. Go rest high on that mountain sweet friend, for your work here is done. He touched many lives and will be dearly missed by many of us. God bless❤️

Dear Joanne and Bill, Our hearts are so heavy and ache for your loss of Colt. We can remember when the twins came along and how happy Jack and Sally were to have the grandbabies and how very proud they were of them over their years. I can only imagine the reunion that the 3 of them had at heavens gate. Jack and I share your pain with losing our Jeff in 1991, but we praise God for allowing us to know the special love between parents and children! We live on for them. May God give you all the strength and love you will need to get thru this. "GONE TOO SOON"

Colt was such a fine young man. He went to school with my daughter Kandace Hite. He came over to my house with his good friend Daniel McCabe and moved my daughter out of the house into her 1st apartment in Farmville where she attended college. He took time out of his day , he was working the night shift then. He will be missed. We will be praying for the whole family and yall are on the prayer list at Ebenezer Baptist church.

The very first time I saw Colt, he was in the fitness center on one of the machines just walking away. Admittedly, I noticed the socks first; however, next I saw a most radiant and welcoming smile. Colt had a wonderful gift of making everyone just feel welcomed and good. The day was better having seen him and that smile. We will continue to keep his family and friends in our prayers.
