Dear family of Jerry Callis, our prayers and deepest sympathy are with all of you in your loss of a cherished husband, brother, father, and grandfather. As neighbors, we always received a warm hello from Jerry as we saw him so frequently visit the Hodges family. As we watched Penny depart the Hodges' home for her faithful visitations throughout Jerry's illness, each time we saw her our prayers went her as she left to be by his side. Our whole town, and many beyond it, will miss Jerry very much. Steve and Pat Israel

I am so sorry to hear this. Jerry was always an active participant in the "senior" Sunday School class that I taught, wanting to hear from the Bible. I even got a little twitch of a smile with a joke about how the Bible says men should make the coffee - You know -the Book of HEbrews. He will be missed.
