To all the family: May God's love, peace and comfort lay heavily in your minds and on your hearts as you go through this sad time and face all the days ahead! I'm sure Heaven just received another Angel, which shall be for all eternity and forever full of God's promised "Glorious Treasures"!!!

I have many fond memories of Durwood. As a child to me he was my favorite uncle. When he and Poppo visited us in Newport News, it was always special. He always made time for me. My memories go on, but most of all I will remember his laugh and his hands.
