Bobby you will truly be missed. I'm glad we had long conversations and were able to laugh,reminisce, and catch up. Your departure has really being weighing on me. This news has broken my heart. Bobby was a pleasure to be around. I taught him at Southside Virginia Community College and had the pleasure of working with him for a while. He was always smiling and so easy to talk to. I am sure going to miss him. His whole family is in my thoughts and prayers. RIP Bobby!

I cannot think of a time when I saw Bobby that he was not smiling. He would always go out of his way to say hello to me and I will miss seeing him at his shop when I walk in Kenbridge. I also saw how important his faith was to him and the love that he had for his church family at KBC. Prayers to all of his family and friends ❤️

I cannot think of a time when I saw Bobby that he was not smiling. He would always go out of his way to speak and not just for the sake of saying hello, he would call me by my name and genuinely ask me how I was or tell me to have a good day. I will miss him on my walks through Kenbridge.
I also remember Bobby from my time at KBC, his faith in God and love for his church family were ever present.

To me, Bobby will always be that young guy who wanted me to help him with sports and asked me how I got the football spiral to turn over in the air like he saw on TV - we instantly became close and all I can remember and will remember is him smiling and us having so much fun - he made my life better and I am thankful and honored that I got to know him early in life, I love you Bobby and I hope you will rest in paradise my friend.

Bobby was one of the coolest and most kind hearted guy's in Lunenburg County. When he saw you he would alway's come over to speak and start a conversation. Bobby touched us all with his kindness and set an example for us all to follow. Prayer's go out to the Pennington family.

Another one of our children gone way to soon!! We are so very sorry about Bobby's death in such a tragic manner, one we know to well. We know he is with our Lord and Savior who loved him first, smiling Bobby's smile and thanking him for his life and family and asking how he can now help and serve. That is the way Bobby was, love and serve others. He will be greatly missed but he is now among the angels. The loss of this young man has devastated our community. He cut my children's hair when they were younger and they walked away happy. The good lord picks his fruit when it's most ripe. He will be missed. So sorry for the family loss. If we could only turn back the hands of time much would be different in this world. We will miss you.

I am so sorry for y'all's loss. I cannot imagine this type of pain. Nancy, you were one of my best teachers, taught me piano every week. And your family was always so nice.
