    Beulah Elizabeth Medina was born on August 2, 1932 in Kenbridge, VA. She was born to parents Elizabeth and Elijah Wyatt. Beulah attended school in Lunenburg county and explored her many talents throughout her life. While she considered becoming a nurse; she instead opted to continue her culinary and domestic talents to better provide for her sons. Beulah was an avid seamstress and cook.  She moved to Lakewood, New Jersey in order to further her career options and raise her sons. While there, she met and married the love of her life, Victoriano Medina on November 11, 1961. They remained married over 50 years until his death in 2017. She took great pleasure cooking for many neighborhood cook-outs that was adorned with many family and friends to include members of the local police and fire departments. Beulah was a member of the local church and associations in the Lakewood, New Jersey.   After Beulah retired, she wanted to return to hometown to enjoy her final years in the relaxation and serenity of the country-side she once knew – Kenbridge, VA. Beulah Elizabeth Medina passed away peacefully at VCU Medical Center on September 23, 2022. Beulah was preceded in death by her beloved husband Victoriano Medina, sisters Irlene Wyatt, Barbara Wyatt, Rita Anne Williams, brother Edwin Wyatt and youngest son Charles Fowlkes. She is survived by her son Earl Fowlkes Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.  The family will receive friends at the Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 1PM until start of services at 2PM.
