Vickie was my best friend in elementary school. I'll always treasure the memories of being with her—playing Barbies, going shopping, bringing home 45 records to play and dance to. We went separate ways in high school, but, happily, reconnected on Facebook a few years ago. I remember the joy I think we both felt at finding each other. Vickie was really my first best friend. Rest In Peace, love.

Rest in peace. I never met you but I know some of those whose lives you touched. They are great people and I consider them family.

Vickie and I first met as penpals, (back in the day, before internet... when people corresponded by post :) It was about 35 years ago, when we had a mutual interest in minitures. From that very first exchange we bonded, not only Vickie and I, but our families became connected also. My dad called Vickie "his colonial daughter", and they had a very special bond. We have been fortunate to be able to visit each other during that time, and I was planning to visit Vickie last year, but sadly covid stopped that. Vickie loved Australia with a passion, and everyone here who met her all loved her with that same passion. She was an amazing lady... Rest in peace, my friend...We all love you.

Vickie was the mother and "Geng-Geng" that Jen and the girls needed. I know that she will be missed by her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
