A true matriarch of Nutbush. Full of wisdom and a fair share of sass. She would always leave me laughing or shaking my head, oftentimes both. Love and time were precious to her and I will always remember her with a smile.

Shirley was such a sweet person and I even remember back when I delivered her newspaper daily when I was younger and then when I was working at the funeral home she would stop by often just to chat and give me what for. :) No matter where she saw me I was sure to get a big hug. We send our condolences to the entire family and just know that we're praying for you and we will continue to do so in the days and weeks ahead. There's no doubt that she's resting with Jesus and she will surely be missed by so many. - Jonathan Sharpe and Family

I'm Buck's sister-in-law (his wife, Angie's big sister). I remember Shirley driving me and my other sister all around the area on a tour, shortly before Buck and Angie's wedding. (I live near Chicago and sister Susan lives near Boston). She was wonderful. Susan and I will never forget her. --Joyce
