    So sorry for your loss. She was a sweet lady. I enjoyed talking with her when I got a chance at the Hundley Center. Sending prayers for all. Love y'all.

    Martha was a very sweet person. You always felt so welcome when you visited her. I know she is happy to be with her husband and son. Her granddaughter, Tera, loved her to the moon and back!

    Hugs and prayers sent to the families of our dear cousin Martha Hancock.We enjoyed our time spent with her until march of this year also fond memories of our growing up years and family reunions with our Aunts,Uncles and all of our cousins..You will be remembered Martha.We love you..     “Nanny” Hancock
    Martha Elliott Hancock, 85, of Kenbridge, Va. joined her family in Heaven on October 14, 2020. She was the wife of the late Lawrence Hancock, mother of the late Henry Thomas Hancock, sister of the late Warren Elliott,Tommy Elliott and Junior Elliott and daughter of the late Garland Elliott and Virginia Maitland Elliott. She is survived by her children, Carolyn Arthur (John), Sandra Carter (Kenny), Allen Hancock (Rebecca), Roger Hancock (Abby) and Dexter Hancock; Nanny to twelve grandchildren, Kristin Shelton, Lisa Rudolph, Jamie Arthur, Randy Hancock, Michael Hancock, Hailee Hancock, Jessica Hancock, Marsha Hancock, Tera Thomas, Sean Hancock, Samantha Hancock, Nicholas Hancock and twelve great-grandchildren; she is also survived by her sister, Lois Quinn and brother Ricky Elliott. Nanny loved baseball, flowers, knick-knacks and spending time with her family. She was an amazing cook and nanny (grandmother) and will live in our hearts forever. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 4 to 5 PM at the Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge. Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday, October 18, 2020 at 2PM in the Kenbridge Heights Cemetery. The family would like to thank all the staff on the 2nd floor of the Hundley Center in South Hill for taking such great care of her while she was there.
