My condolences to Joe's family and friends. I did not know him well but to me he was always a kind, gentle soul who shared a good portion of his life working along side Jimmy Porter, a member of our family.

Guiseppe Guarino, 72, of Clarksville, VA, formerly of Paterson, NJ, was born May 14, 1948, joined his wife, Patricia Carlin Guarino, in heaven on May 2, 2021. Joe is survived by two sons: Michael Guarino of Keansburg, NJ, and Brian (Hannah) Guarino of Kenbridge, VA; one grandson, Benjamin Guarino of Kenbridge; and devoted friend, Kari Edmonds of Clarksville. Joe was a life long carpenter, who enjoyed painting. He loved caring for all types of animals and watching his grandson grow up. Joe was an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast, who would travel great distances for a cruise-in. Joe will be remembered as a great friend to everyone and will be deeply missed by many. The family welcomes friends at the home of Billy and Kathy Coffee, 2255 Fletcher Chapel Rd., Kenbridge, on  Tuesday, May 4, from 5 to 9 PM. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 3PM at Woodland Cemetery in Chase City. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your local SPCA.
