My daughters and I learned so much from Lt Col Daniel; fascinating stories and lessons from a kind and gentle man. I am thankful to have made your acquaintance, sir.

My sympathy is with your family. I always enjoyed waiting on Dennis at Kenbridge Supply and seeing him walk with his dog. May you all be given the strength you need in the day ahead. You have your good memories.

Bonnie and Clark, I just learned of Dennis's passing. May God be with your entire family during this time of grief. Dennis and I grew up in the Dundas-Danieltown area. We became close friends as youngsters and visited each others home many times. I helped his mom and dad on numerous occasions during tobacco harvesting season. We attended the New Hope Christian Church at Danieltown, and both of us were baptized at the Christian Church in Kenbridge during the same baptismal service. Eventually, we went our separate ways, and lost track of each other. That did not cause me to forget our friendship. I thought of Dennis and his family frequently. Rest assured that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
